Dr. Timothy Ramos recently participated in E-Cubed career day on June 8th, 2018. E-Cubed is a small school located on Branch Avenue in Providence, RI. They have 346 students for grades 9-12. It recently made the local news for drafting a bill requiring up-to-date science labs at every high school in Rhode Island. Dr. Ramos presented to three groups of 30 students grades 9-11. Students signed up based off interest of careers including lawyer, firefighter, marketing, banking, engineering, and others. Dr. Tim’s presentation educated the students on schooling required to become a PT. As well as other important things such as Forbes “top 10 up and coming jobs,” and Forbes “top 10 job satisfaction.” Then Dr. Tim went over interactive special tests, stretches, exercises, and things that a physical therapist does in everyday life at work. Overall great learning experience for the kids and glad to educate the youth about our great profession of helping others improve quality of life. His presentation had the highest attendance of them all!
