Dr. Jeremy McVay is the owner and director of McVay Physical Therapy. Dr. McVay has over 10 years of experience in treating patients with many diagnoses. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a minor in French. He completed his Masters in Physical Therapy at East Carolina University and went on to finish his Doctorate with Distinction at Simmons College in Boston. He is a certified sports and conditioning specialist (CSCS). He recently published an article on neck treatment in “Orthopedic Physical Therapy Practice”, a publication of the Orthopedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association.

The emphasis at McVay Physical Therapy is on individualized care with patient directed goals and specialized equipment to speed recovery.
Dr. McVay is board certified and has taken special topics courses in the spine, foot and ankle, shoulder and aquatics. He has taken a myriad of CEU courses with instructors including direct interaction with Kevin Wilk, Brian Mulligan and George Davies. He has worked with orthopedic surgeons at New England Sports Therapy and Fitness and Foundry Orthopedics. He continued his career at University Rehabilitation for over five years, with a University Orthopedics surgeon next door. He opened his own private practice in 2008. His sporting interests include sailing, skiing, windsurfing, cycling, hiking, etc.
